We have a fascinating presentation this month featuring Google Earth: Ocean Showcase presented by
Sharon Yates. Dive into the ocean and discover who lives there -- from a deep sea octopus to humpback whales. Explore
lost shipwrecks, dive spots, the ocean’s deepest trench, and the latest discoveries of the Monterey Bay Aquarium
Research Institute.
Sharon is a Master Scuba Diver and has been enjoying scuba diving for the last 12 years. She has traveled to many
places across the world. And there are still more destinations that she continues to strive to get to. Her favorite part
of traveling to these wonderful destinations is finding about the surrounding areas, if there’s any history or
important things to see. A little research before the trip goes a long way in making your trip a pleasurable one to
remember. Using Google Earth adds a new dimension to your research.
All members are encouraged to attend. Guests are welcome.
All membership dues are renewed annually. Don’t know when your membership expires? Check with your club officers

General Information
A guest speaker or program is normally scheduled for each meeting, on a subject of interest to scuba divers. Subjects
may include dive specialties, sea life, slide shows, videos, first aid and many others. Part of our membership dues help
with providing dinner for our guest speaker and room fees throughout the year.
Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month with the exception of November. Our November meeting is moved up
one week if the meeting date is the same week as the Thanksgiving holiday.
Come out and meet the friendliest divers in town! We also have loads of fun!
